Katori Hall

Dramaturga e performer de Memphis, Tennessee (EUA). Escreveu The Mountaintop, sobre a última noite de Martin Luther King, texto vencedor do Prémio Olivier 2010 para Melhor Peça Nova. Escreveu também Hoodoo Love, Remembrance, Hurt Village, Saturday Night/Sunday Morning, WHADDABLOODCLOT!?!?, The Hope Well e Pussy Valley. O seu trabalho foi desenvolvido e apresentado no Bay Area Playwrights’ Festival, American Repertory Theatre, Kennedy Center, Classical Theatre of Harlem, BRICLab, Women’s Project, Lark Play Development Center, New Professional Theatre, Universidade de Stanford e Universidade de Columbia. Foi nomeada para o prémio de dramaturgo mais promissor do Evening Standard de Londres e recebeu o Otis Guernsey New Voices Playwriting Award do festival de teatro William Inge. Integra o Lark Playwrights’ Workshop, a Dramatist’s Guild e o programa New Voices do Old Vic.
