São Tomé, São Tomé and Príncipe (1983). Lives and works in Lisbon and São Tomé.

He graduated from the School of Fine Arts in Dakar, Senegal. Participated in several workshops in Sao Tome, in the space Teia d’Arte, and in 2004 he joined the workshop of painting, drawing and installation, guided by artist Maria Magdalena Campos during the biennial Dak’Art. He has exhibited in Sao Tome, Lisbon, Evora, Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam and other cities, and in 2008 participated in the Fifth Biennial International Art and Culture of Sao Tome and Principe. In 2009 he won a scholarship to develop his research in plastic Rennes, France. Currently attending the Master of Science in Art and Heritage at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Lisbon.
