Art historian by training, and has published about Portuguese public sculpture and urban design, and participation in public art. He has written about contemporary art in publications, some less obscure than others (Revista4, Re·Vis·Ta, Punkto), as well as for a local newspaper. Some 10 years ago he moved to the countryside and started to despecialize. He has worked in rather diverse occupations and in the process became a professional cook. Occasionally he takes up his laptop again and returns to the craft of writing.
