Alberto Tavares
Cape Verdean (1979)
Alberto Tavares graduated in Portugal. Currently he lives, works and continues his academic formation in London, where he previously licensed in Plastic Arts by the University of Arts. Alberto’s work methodology involves collages, silhouettes, artist’s books and films. Recently, his work could be seen in exposition Tropical Gothic, in the Center of Contemporary Art of Warsaw. Alberto is also the director of the Festival Manifesto, Association which organizes several events in order to promote contemporary African Culture in London, such as concerts, djing nights, etc.
