Diana Andringa

Diana Andringa was born in 1947 in Angola, then a Portuguese colony. She came to Portugal when she was eleven years old. After finishing secondary school she went to Medicine School, which she quit for journalism. She spent twenty months in jail for defending the independence of Angola. As a journalist, she worked both in the press and in the state television, RTP. After quitting RTP she has worked as an independent film maker, filming documentaries, mostly about Portuguese fascism and colonialism.
