Boaventura de Sousa Santos
Coimbra (1940). PhD in Sociology of Law at Yale University, Professor of the Faculty of Economics at Universidade de Coimbra, Distinguished Legal Scholar of the Faculty of Law at Wisconsin-Madison University and Global Legal Scholar at Warwick University. He is also Director of the Centre for Social Studies and Documentation Center “25 de Abril” and Scientific Coordinator of the Permanent Observatory for Portuguese Justice - all at Universidade de Coimbra.
